  • In the attachments area of the experiment summary page, you can upload non-FCS files to keep with an experiment. Types of attachments you might want to upload include protocol notes, pdfs of papers associated with this experiment, other data analysis files or other experiment notes from the lab.

To upload an attachment, use the "Browse" button to bring up a window showing the contents of your computer. Select the file you want to upload and, on the experiment summary page, click "Upload".

This area shows a list of any attachments that have been uploaded. Details about the attachments include:

    • The file name, which is also a link--if you click on the file name, the file will be downloaded to your computer.
    • If you have permission to delete the attachment, there will be an "x" after the file name. Clicking on this will delete the attachment.
    • Date (or time, if today) the attachment was uploaded
    • Who uploaded the attachment, along with a link to the profile of that user
    • Description, if one is provided. You can click here to add a description if you have permission
    • Size of the attachment
    • The md5sum for the file.
