Cytobank has a few requirements for the computer and browser you use:

• Computer: Cytobank can be run on Windows, Mac, or Linux computers.
  • Windows: XP or above
  • Mac: OS X 10.3.x or above
  • Linux: [fill in]
• Browser: We recommend the latest version of Firefox.
  • Must be able to run Java 1.5.1 or higher

    How can I tell?

    If you are unsure go to http://www.javatester.org/version.html and check your version.

    • Note: Mac users should use the apple software update feature to install java
    • PC users can get the latest java version from www.java.com
  • Firefox: Provides the most "crisp" look and feel.
  • Safari: Cytobank works on Safari, but it's not currently officially supported (i.e., if you find a bug, let us know, but don't expect a quick fix, please).
  • Chrome: Cytobank works on Chrome, but it's not officially supported by us right now.
